RANDOLPH, NJ- Hundreds of families spent a fun day at Ironia Feb.10. Children enjoyed face painting, games, a DJ, pizza and a bake sale. Families enjoyed a basket raffle, a Randolph High School cabaret performance, a Randolph Reelers Square Dance performance and the teacher's challenge.

Principal David Kricheff, Vice Principal Rathjen, teachers and a parent competed in the teacher's challenge, first wearing mouth guards and saying words which had to be deciphered by a student, parent or teacher, then eating pickles and finally carrying (without their hands) and peeling potatoes (with their hands). This was an unappealing event for Vice Principal Rathjen who overcame a potato peeling injury to tie Principal Kricheff by peeling seven potatoes in the allotted time. In the end, the vice principal was declared the winner and he has vowed to avoid all potatoes in the future.
