RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph Library Board of Trustees has announced the appointment of Lore Reinhart as the new Director of the Randolph Township Library, effective Feb. 27. Reinhart replaces Anita Freeman who retired in January after serving as the Library Director for 36 years.

Reinhart graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. She then received her Master of Library Science degree from Rutgers University School of Communication, Information and Library Services.

Reinhart has served as the Supervisor of Children's Services at the Randolph Township Library for the past 16 years.  In that role, she has interacted with and assisted thousands of Randolph library users.  During that time, she was responsible for developing and overseeing all library services for children and teens, including collection development and programming.  Ms. Reinhart began a Teen Advisory Board to provide teens with an opportunity to be involved in strategic initiatives directed at teenagers.  She was also instrumental in the creation of a Teen Zone room in the library.

Prior to joining the Randolph Library, Ms. Reinhart was employed as a Children's Librarian by New Providence Memorial Library and at Bernardsville Public Library.

Ms. Reinhart has lived in Randolph with her husband for over 20 years.  Her daughter and son both attended school in Randolph. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, travel, bike, and volunteer for Friends of the Randolph Pound.
