DENVILLE, NJ - Working with a firefighter organization, students at the Morris County School of Technology recently donated gifts to hospitalized children.

The fundraising effort between the students in the MCST's Academy for Education and Learning and members of the Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society (F.O.O.L.S.) of Northern New Jersey raised $400 to buy the presents. The gifts were given to children at Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown.

Students in the MCST's Academy for Education and Learning gain knowledge about teaching by running a program for 3- to 5-year-old children. "They develop the lesson plans under the guidance of their instructors and teach these lessons in The Learning Center, an on-site preschool," said MCST public relations representative Gina DiDomenico.
