RANDOLPH, NJ- The Mt. Freedom Jewish Center has now added a special after-school Hebrew School class for kindergartners through second grade. This special program will utilize stories, music and crafts to specifically engage and connect this young age group to Jewish life and holidays.

The MTFJC once-a-week after school program is led by Rabbi Menashe East alongside caring and experienced Hebrew School teachers, Mrs. Mimi Czeisler and Mrs. Sharon Nessel.  The synagogue school provides Judaic enrichment through Jewish texts, song and music, hands-on learning experiences and Hebrew language instruction. Rabbi East can often be found on his guitar, leading the group singing.

Rabbi East's goal for the students is  to learn and live their heritage so that they carry their passion and love of Jewish life to their families, to their neighborhoods and to their schools. The school's  vision is to prepare our students for their future as engaged Jewish adults.
