Morris County, NJ- A emergency alert system is in place in Morris County, and residents need to re-register if they want to continue receiving alerts.
The new AlertMorris system will be used at the county level and by many towns at the municipal level. Registered residents will receive calls, texts or emails when emergencies occur.
AlertMorris will allow you to get emergency notifications in any manner you choose, including phone, email, text, or social media, so you can stay informed during major storms or other emergencies taking place throughout Morris County.
Morris County’s social media alert accounts on Facebook and Twitter, @MCUrgent, also have changed their names to @AlertMorris.
