RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph Board of Education has approved the appointment of John F. Aymil as the new transportation director effective Nov, 2. Aymil will succeed Donna Werge who will retire on Oct. 30.

"Mr. Aymil will bring great skill and diplomacy to his position," Superintendent of Schools David Browne said at the board of education meeting on Aug. 18.

Aymil said he is very excited to begin his new position. "I thank Dr. Browne for the opportunity to lead the Randolph Transportation Department and look forward to continue working in this great district."

Aymil, a current school bus driver in Randolph, has worked as a bus driver for the Somerset County Educational Commission and Mendham Township Board of Education. He has a bachelor's degree from Johnson and Wales University and is pursuing his Master's Degree in Leadership and Public Administration at  Centenary College in Hackettstown.
