BRIDGEWATER, NJ - Zoned Sports Academy, in Bridgewater, held its annual signing day event Thursday with athletes from Bridgewater and surrounding towns committing to playing baseball and softball in college.

Guest speaker at the event was Lonnie Allgood, CEO and founder of Dreams for Kids, who spoke about perseverance and humility. Dreams for Kids trains and mentors youth as social entrepreneurs, and helps them provide solutions to critical social issues.

Bridgewater Mayor Dan Hayes told the families assembled that the best athletes he has seen recognize their teammates above themselves, and then recognize the hard work of opposing teams.
