RANDOLPH, NJ- Artworks Studio, a Randolph Township Fine Arts Studio, is honored to be the recipient of a generous Local Arts Grant made possible by funds from Morris Arts, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. The grant will help to make possible the inaugural Randolph Arts in the Park arts festival to be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Morris Arts, in awarding the grant stated, “We applaud the work you do in the community and feel strongly that through the Local Arts Grant program, our grantees are collectively reaching a broad and diverse audience in Morris County.”

The vision of Randolph Arts in the Park is to establish an annual free event that provides the community an opportunity to come together to learn about, participate in and celebrate the arts as well as provide local performing, visual and literary artists the opportunity to showcase their talents. Artworks Studio Director Kelly Varga applied for the grant with the goal of “making the arts accessible and enjoyable for everyone in our community.”

More information about the festival and the application process will be available in January on the Randolph Township Website, www.randolphnj.org , and on the Artworks Studio Randolph NJ Facebook page.

Artworks Studio offers fine arts instruction taught by accomplished teaching artists to all ages. To learn more about the many programs offered, visit www.randolphnj.org under the Parks and Recreation tab. Questions may be directed to Kelly Varga at artworks@randolphnj.org.
