I am a candidate for the Randolph Board of Education.  I just retired at the end of the 2018 school year from teaching for 19 years at Boonton High School, so I bring a wealth of educational experience with me. Since retiring I have been substitute teaching at both Randolph and Roxbury High Schools, as well as volunteering as a tour guide at the NJ Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel.

I came to teaching later in life, so I was employed outside of education for most of my working career.  My experience includes twenty years as a plant manager in factories in Brooklyn and Newark NJ. After that I was employed as a salesman for six years, selling wholesale tires in Queens then paper products in Morris County, N.J.

I believe I am uniquely qualified.  I have the educational background necessary to be a very proactive and productive board member, and I also have the experiences of being in the business world and dealing with budgets, unions, personnel, etc.  My military service in the 69th Infantry Regiment of the New York State National Guard was a great way for me to learn responsibility and discipline as a young man.
