RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph boys swim team continues to make waves this winter season, knocking previously undefeated Newton/Lenape Valley out of the state tournament on Monday Feb. 8.

The matchup was a closely fought battle between two strong teams in the NJSIAA North 1-B Sectional Semifinals.  Randolph swam away with a narrow 88-82 victory.

Although the Rams only took first place in three events against Lenape, points are awarded on a sliding scale in order of finish.  The Rams proved to be the far deeper team, with more swimmers placing and accumulating points for a team total that bested their foe to earn the victory.

The Rams swim next in the state sectional Final against Northern Highlands.  The meet is this Friday, Feb. 12, and will be held at Passaic Tech at 7 p.m..
