RANDOLPH, NJ-  The Randolph Gymnastics team's 2017 season is in full swing.  The Lady Rams have earned themselves a record of 3-3-1 so far.  Their three most recent meet results are listed below:

Randolph Girls Gymnastics Hosted Mount Olive's new team on September 22. Randolph won the meet 101.3 to MO's 91.65.

Paige Zangara placed 1st all around  and Captain Jordyn Kranis Placed 3rd all around

individual events:

Vault  - Senior Paige Zangara placed 2st, Jordyn Kranis placed 3rd, Senior Stephanie Heiberger placed 4th

Uneven Bars - Junior Alyssa Gurevich placed 2nd, Senior Sydney Texeira Place 3rd , and Fresh man Skye Gioia placed 4th. 

Balance Beam - Jordyn Kranis placed 2nd,  Paige Zangara placed 3rd and Alyssa Gurevich placed 4th

Floor - Jordyn Kranis placed 2nd , Paige Zangara placed 3rd and Sydney Texeira placed 4th. 


Next, the Lady Rams traveled up to West Milford on Tuesday Sept. 26, where Randolph won 99.75 to 95.5

Freshman Skye  Gioia placed 2nd All Around

Vault : Paige Zangara 1st place, Stephanie Heiberger 2nd Place

Uneven Bars: Paige Zangara 1st place, Skye Gioia and Jordyn Kranis Tied for 3rd

Balance Beam: Sydney Teixeira placed 1st, Jordyn Kranis placed 2nd

Floor: Jordyn Kranis 1st place, Sydney Teiceira 2nd place

On Wednesday Sept. 27 Randolph hosted Holy Angels, and came up short, losing by less than a point in a nail bitter 104.15 to 104.95.

All around : Sydney Teixeira placed 2nd, Jordyn Kranis place 3rd

Vault: Sydney Teixeira - 1st place, Jordyn Kranis  and Paige Zangara - tied for 3rd

Uneven Bars: Paige Zangara 3rd place

Balance Beam: Jordyn Kranis 2nd Place

Floor: Jordyn Kranis 2nd Place, Sydney Teixeira 3rd place.

Free Movie Night at Randolph Lake Fri. July 20

RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC) and the Randolph Parks & Recreation Department are hosting a free outdoor family movie night on Friday, July 20 at Randolph Park Beach (Green Lane). All are welcome to attend.

The movie, Paddington 2, will begin at 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be sold at the snack stand. Admission to the lake is free after 7:00 p.m.

Rutgers Hikes Tuition, Student Fees for 2018-2019 Academic Year

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The increase now brings the annual cost for undergraduate students to $14,975, which is $337 more than this past school year.
