Randolph, NJ- The Randolph High School Drama Club will present the family musical Annie on March 17 at 7 pm and March 18 at 1 pm and 7 pm. A character “meet and greet” geared especially for children will follow the 1 pm matinee.

Based on the popular comic strip, Annie is the story of a young orphan living in Depression-era New York City. Annie is unlike most of the other girls at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. She optimistically believes that her parents are still alive and looking for her. When billionaire Oliver Warbucks wants to adopt her, Annie asks the powerful man to help her find her real parents instead. Con artists Rooster, Lily and Miss Hannigan hatch a plan to kidnap Annie and take the reward from Mr. Warbucks. The plot takes several twists and turns, but ultimately has a happy ending for Annie.
