RANDOLPH, NJ- Randolph High School senior Jack Knapp, a percussionist, performed with The College of New Jersey Honors Wind Ensemble at its recent concert on November 17 in the college’s Kendall Hall. The wind ensemble was composed of students from 30 high schools in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The concert featured the TCNJ Trumpet Ensemble as well as the honors wind ensemble, a program for high school woodwind, brass and percussion students. Jack, who also applied to The College of New Jersey, said both of his parents graduated from there and met there and performed in the same auditorium at Kendall Hall where the concert took place. His older sister also attends there.
Randolph High School Director of Bands Dawn Russo said she was excited to hear of the wonderful news and congratulated Jack for his selection for the group.
