RANDOLPH, NJ- The Kiwanis Club of Randolph Township hosted their third “Pins 4 Pets” bowling fundraiser on Sunday March 11 to benefit the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter.
The event sold out all lanes at the Rockaway Lanes as teams of bowlers registered to enjoy two hours of bowling (with free shoes!) in support of the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter and the Friends of the Randolph Pound. Friends of Randolph Animal Pound, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of orphaned pets. Donations to this organization go directly to the welfare of the animals. To learn more, please visit randolphregionalanimalshelter.org.
The overall funds raised, by a donation from the Randolph Kiwanis club, generous donations by attendees during the event and net registration fees totaled $1,600, which was presented to the Friends of the Randolph Animal Pound on March 28th. The Kiwanis Club also donated a $50 Randolph Diner gift card to the team with the highest total score of the second game. Members of the Dover Key Club, who are sponsored by the Randolph Kiwanis, assisted with welcoming bowlers and getting them registered to their lane.
The Kiwanis club of Randolph Township was able to provide funds by utilizing proceeds from its largest fundraiser, the Morristown CraftMarket (October 19-21, 2018 at the Morristown National Guard armory).
