RANDOLPH, NJ- Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. To support that mission locally, each year the Randolph Kiwanis club runs two major fundraisers (the Morristown Craft Market and, in partnership with Randolph Township, the Randolph Freedom Festival). However, both events were canceled and all club activities came to a standstill in 2020.
Nonetheless, keeping our tradition of service and giving to our community, The Randolph Township Kiwanis Club is offering “SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SERVICE” to graduating seniors. Multiple scholarships of $3,000 each are available and will be awarded as a one-time distribution of funds. These scholarships are for an accredited college, secondary institution, or technical school. All Randolph residents who are currently enrolled as high school seniors are eligible to apply.
The Scholarship Committee of the Randolph Kiwanis Club will select the recipients. The committee will evaluate candidates on the basis of their service to school and community, leadership qualities, academic achievement and financial need.
Students may obtain the two-page application online from the Randolph High School Naviance Family Connection or download the application from the Randolph Kiwanis website www.randolphkiwanis.org. If further information, or an application, is needed students may email Scholarship Committee Chair, Anita Freeman at email@example.com.
Deadline for applications is midnight April 15, 2021. Scholarships will be announced in June 2021.
