RANDOLPH, NJ- All 16 Randolph Middle School eighth grade teachers conducted seminars on U.N. Sustainability goals on Dec. 21 and 22 before the holiday break.

The intention of the program was to help our students understand more about sustainability and the goals and to make informed choices about these topics, according to RMS Principal Dennis Copeland. Students can then establish themselves as “experts in residence.” For information, visit https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/sdgs

The seminars are also part of the 8th grade teaching staff’s efforts towards advancing the Capstone Project. Each session level presentation lasted 20 minutes.

Students learned about everything from gender equality to affordable and clean energy to clean water and sanitation.
