RANDOLPH, NJ- Six Randolph Middle School singers who successfully auditioned for the 2019 Morris Area Honors Choir last month. The students are: eighth graders Andrew Berkemeyer (High Baritone), Conner Cafero (High Baritone), Jaylynn Crespo (Alto) and Alexa Helmke (Alto), sixth grader Fernando Hernandez (Alto) and seventh grader Lloyd Silikovitz (Alto).

The students had to prepare a solo and two scales that they had to perform in front of a panel of judges, according to Randolph Middle School Director of Choirs Ann Kelly. The students auditioned against students from several middle schools in the Morris County area.

"The caliber is really high," Ms. Kelly noted. The group is also celebrating its 15th anniversary so it will be a very special concert with a new piece commissioned by an acclaimed composer.
