RANDOLPH. NJ-The Randolph Recreation Cheerleading program has been successfully participating in the Long Valley Competition Cheerleading Association's (LVCCA) Cheerfest competition for four seasons, first entering the competition in the fall of 2011. Since then, Randolph’s upper-level squads (Grades 6-8) have consistently brought home gold medals, awards for best dance and best cheer, as well as divisional Grand Champion titles.
This season was no different. With all three upper level squads participating in the LVCCA's 6th Annual Cheerfest Competition at West Morris Central High School on Sunday, Oct. 19, it was a gold medal sweep for Randolph Recreation's Pee Wee, JV and Varsity cheerleaders. In addition, the Pee Wee Cheerleaders (6th graders) earned the title of Grand Champions of their division and our Varsity Cheerleaders (8th graders) brought home the Grand Championship of the Varsity division by earning the highest point total of the session. All three of the participating Randolph squads put in additional hours of extra practice and worked very hard to earn such outstanding results.
The Randolph Recreation Cheerleading program provides training in the sport of cheerleading for Township residents in grades 3-8. The first opportunity to join the program for the new season begins in the Spring Clinic for girls entering grades 3-8 in the fall of 2015.
This year our tentative Spring Clinic dates (subject to change) are 4/21, 4/28 and 4/30 with tryouts on 5/1. Further information and online registration is available atwww.randolphnj.org.
