RANDOLPH, NJ- At this year's New Jersey VFW State Convention held in Wildwood, NJ, Randolph Memorial Post #7333, Veterans of Foreign Wars, received a first place award for publicity and involvement in the community.

Past District 10 Commander, George Terry presented the plaque to Jack Sassaman, current Randolph Post Quartermaster, and past District 10 Commander.

The award is based on news stories and media coverage of the Post’s community events throughout the year, while taking into account the amount of events the Post sponsors or participates in.  The award is given to the Post with the most publicity from May 1st thru April 30th each year.

Randolph’s VFW has won this award for the past four years.
