RANDOLPH, NJ- It is time for Randolph's annual St. Baldricks event.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers, while giving survivors long, healthy lives.
This years event is extremely important to many around town, as Nancy Martin, a Randolph Mom who recently passed away, is also being honored.
It was Nancy's wish that we continue fighting the battle against childhood cancer.
One can join as a shavee, a volunteer, or can help by donating money to the cause. The volunteers running the event hope that the Randolph community will help raise money while also increasing awareness.
For those with girls interested in joining the "fight", this year we're offering hair braiding (one braid) with a shamrock ribbon running thru it.
The event will be held on Sunday May 15, from 3pm - 5pm at Resurrection Church on Millbrook Ave in Randolph.
