RANDOLPH, NJ- Two Randolph Middle School musicians have been selected as members of the New Jersey All-State Intermediate Orchestra. Seventh grader Shoshana Zeiger and eighth grader Priscilla Peters will play the violin and represent Randolph in the prestigious group at the group's concert May 13 at 3 p.m. at Summit High School.

"These wonderful musicians made Randolph Middle School proud!!" said RMS Orchestra Director Hsiao-yu Lin Griggs.
Both students are members of the Con Brio Select Orchestra, an audition-based ensemble open to Randolph Middle School orchestra students in grades six-eight. Con Brio musicians perform at a higher level of music literature compared to all grade level orchestras. The group was also invited to perform in the 2017 NAFME Eastern Conference in Atlantic City.

This is the second year that Priscilla has been selected for the group, she said. "You get inspired to play music with people who love music as much as you do," Priscilla said.
Shoshana said she is excited to play with so many talented musicians. Shoshona also plays with the the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Youth Academy and Priscilla with the New Jersey Youth Symphony.
