MORRISTOWN, NJ - Singer, song writer and former semifinalist on “The Voice” Brendan Fletcher will be performing at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Thursday June 14 at 7:30pm. The concert, which is presented by Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty and First Lady Mary Dougherty will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, with all proceeds going directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
This year's show will feature the Randolph native as well Kylie Rothfield, also from "The Voice". Fletcher competed on the 11th season of NBC’s hit show The Voice, and sang his way to the semi-finals. His rendition of "True Colors" hit No. 2 on iTunes and his cover of "Whipping Post" hit No. 1. Fletcher's original song, "Boston" was No. 5 on iTunes.
Last year's benefit show featuring Fletcher raised more than $30,000 for the charity. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds important research as well as provides support to patients and families dealing with a diagnosis of blood cancer. Purchasing a ticket to Thursday's concert will help fund therapies and treatments that save lives.
So if you're a fan of "The Voice", like good music or want to help support a good cause then this concert's for you.
