RANDOLPH, NJ- A Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday.
The national weather service issued a winter weather advisory for snow, with possibly some sleet and freezing rain before ending.
A snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is expected along with a trace of ice. The snow should overspread the region by early Sunday afternoon, fall steady through the afternoon and early evening.
The weather data suggests there will be around 2-3” on the ground by 8 p.m. Around 8-9 p.m., there will be a transition from snow to freezing rain. Ice will remain fairly likely through at least midnight. Ice/rain will wind down after midnight and end completely by 4-5 a.m.
All Randolph School facilites will be closed after 4 p.m. today, therefore all games scheduled for 4 and later are canceled.
