My family moved to Randolph 13 years ago and we quickly grew to love the township and our neighbors. We enjoy the parks and trails, the friendship and community of our neighbors, and the Township’s suburban atmosphere in such close proximity to downtown Morristown. Our sons have all participated in various athletic offerings where my wife and I have both served as coaches. More than any other community activity, our family has been heavily involved in the Scouting program. All three of our sons are currently active in one of the Township’s four troops where I have served as an Asst. Scoutmaster for 6 years and our oldest son is currently working on his Eagle Scout project. During our years in Scouting I have had the opportunity to attend many Eagle Scout Court’s of Honor both in Randolph and other communities, and it is through several of these events that I have come to meet former Randolph Township Mayor Roman Hirniak and discuss his support of Scouting.
Mr. Hirniak has been a large supporter of the Scouting program and having him attend these events has reinforced not only his, but the Township’s support for our community oriented program. He has always expressed his support and respect for these young citizens who have earned the highest rank in Scouting and proven their own support for the community through hundreds of volunteer hours. Based on my interactions with Mr. Hirniak I consider him an excellent candidate for Township Council and whole-heartedly support his campaign for re-election. I encourage my fellow residents to vote for Roman Hirniak during the June 5th Primary Election.
