RANDOLPH, NJ- The third annual Rotary Club's “Taste of Randolph” took place last week at the Randolph firehouse on Millbrook Ave.
It was the third annual event, which the club uses as a fundraiser as well as a way to promote community events while promoting local businesses.
“Attendance was a bit lower than previous years, but we were very pleased with our restaurants,” said event coordinator Cathy Kremins. “It feels good to showcase our town and our great restaurants; we really had a great evening. We now need to make sure we get out and eat at them all to say thank you.”
A 50-50 raffle and multiple door prizes were awarded to attendees, who had three hours to, sample food and beverages from 11 Randolph restaurants, caterers and specialty food companies.
The Vendors included: Pizza Palace, La Strada, Randolph Diner, Hunan Wok, Mr. Crabbys, The Barn, Pizza Pub, Crepe Time, JT Confections, Irpinia, and Sweet Ali’s. Begerages were provided by High Grade Beverage.
Attendees filled tables with food and drinks while sharing conversation and laughter, and no one left hungry.
Randolph Mayor Jim Loveys was at the event, along with Town Coundil members Joanne Veech, Lou Nisivoccia, Christine Carey, Mark Forstenhausler, and Lance Tkacs.
