Below is a summary of the most recent information/actions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of today, there are 22,255 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Jersey, 942 of which are in Morris County. Seven new cases in Randolph were confirmed, bringing the total to 56. Of the 56 cases, eleven households have more than one individual. Four individuals are currently hospitalized. All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are in the process of being reached and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

It is with great sadness that we must report Randolph’s first fatality associated with COVID-19; our thoughts are with the family in this extremely difficult time. The family has requested that out of respect for their privacy, no further information be released.


Governor Murphy, Senate President Sweeney, and Assembly Speaker Coughlin issued a joint statement extending the state income tax filing deadline and the corporation business tax filing deadline from April 15 to July 15.

Governor Murphy announced today that the FAFSA deadline for eligible college students is extended from April 15 to June 1.
