“It is difficult for a ranking system to capture all facets of what makes a school district successful. However, we appreciate when we are recognized for excellence by a reputable external agency like U.S. News. Being ranked nationally as a best high school is a reflection on our talented students and teachers. U.S. News analyzes many factors to come up with a ranking for every high school in the country. Of particular importance in the ranking calculation is our graduation rate and how well students are prepared for the next step after they leave Randolph in 12th grade, whether it be college or entering the workforce. To have our efforts validated with a ‘Best’ award is certainly a distinction the community and district can be proud of.” said Jonathan Olsen, Director of Secondary Education
