RANDOLPH, NJ- Your continued patience during this ongoing health emergency is appreciated. The following is a summary of the most recent information/actions related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
CONFIRMED CASES
As of today, there are 890 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Jersey, 35 of which are in Morris County including 10 confirmed cases in Randolph. Five of the 10 confirmed cases are associated with two households. None of the individuals is hospitalized.  All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are in the process of being reached and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

We acknowledge that residents are concerned about contact with those who have tested positive; however, pursuant to State and Federal law, we are prohibited from releasing the identity or any identifying details associated with these individuals.

Governor Murphy announced today that hospitals and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) are now required to waive patient fees for COVID-19 testing and related diagnostic services for those who lack health insurance. In communication to the New Jersey Hospital Association and the New Jersey Primary Care Association, which includes 23 FQHCs with more than 120 satellite locations, New Jersey Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said that the cost for testing and diagnosis should not be a barrier for any of New Jersey’s residents.

NJ 2-1-1 Activated for COVID-19 Calls – all residents with questions or concerns about COVID-19 and resources available to them can call 2-1-1. NJ211 is New Jersey’s statewide, comprehensive, information and referral service operated by United Ways of New Jersey. Residents can also text NJCOVID to 898-211 to receive text information and stay informed. To receive live text assistance, residents can text their zip code to 898-211.
