RANDOLPH, NJ- Randolph High School Debate Team Advisor Peter Quinn was recently recognized by the National Speech and Debate Association with the Distinguished Service Gold Key Award.

"I’m really honored to receive this award from the NSDA," Mr. Quinn said. "It’s an organization that helps empower students to use their voices and think critically, which are essential skills in today’s world. I’m just happy to give back to an activity that does so much for our kids here in Randolph and kids all across the country. I firmly believe that every child can benefit from speech and debate."

Randolph High School Principal Debbie Iosso commended Mr. Quinn and said that he is "a selfless advocate for speech and debate. Mr. Quinn has done amazing things with our program as evidenced by the over 90 members now enthusiastically participating in your club-not to mention the incredible honors they have achieved."

The team is winning awards at almost every competition with one student making it the quarter finals of the Yale Invitational.
