RANDOLPH, NJ- The Randolph Lady Rams basketball team has stormed out of the gate in the 2019-20 season, ripping off six straight wins against zero defeats to earn themselves a 6-0 record.

Some of those wins came in a tournament played over the Holiday break; the first tournament Randolph has won since the 2012-13 season.

The Lady Rams overwhelmed Millburn in the opener by the score of 58-13.  Ellie Sciancalepore led the way with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals.  Angeleen Mulero added 11pts, 5 assists and 6 steals.

In the Championship game vs Livingston, they raced out to a 20-0 lead and coasted to a 43-21 win.  Mulero led the way with 14 points and 4 steals, while Alyssa Alfieri added 11 points and 6 Steals and Sara Bona grabbed 7 rebounds.

Randolph followed up their tournament win with a stifling 53-13 victory at Roxbury, as Olivia Turner led the way with 11 points and 8 rebounds on the night.

The key to our 6-0 start has been our defense, as we are holding our opponents to an avg of 20 points per game,” said coach Pete Torres.  “That along with our great leadership from Ellie, Alyssa and Angeleen has led to a great start to the season.”
