RED BANK, NJ: Located at the end of Locust Avenue, the newly renovated Bellhaven Nature Preserve is a hidden jewel providing a playground set for kids that offers inspiring views of the Navesink River while standing on top.

Several benches are available to relax on while serenely surrounded by tall wheat-like reed grass just steps from the river.

This pocket park was made possible by a $105,843 New Jersey Green Acres grant that was announced in October 2019.  “The award recognizes Red Bank's stewardship efforts to improve and expand conservation and recreation opportunities,” wrote Katherine McCabe, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
