RED BANK, NJ: You’ve got the best of both worlds; BoonDocks To-Go located at 78 Bridge Ave., directly across the train station on the west side, and soon to reopen, The BoonDocks Fishery offering riverfront dining at the foot of Marine Park.
Nothing better than fresh fish that can be picked up curbside including starters such as; Jumbo U-Peel-Shrimp, Tuna Bites, Calamari and much more. Then move on to the platters; Shrimp Scampi, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Blackened Grouper and other mouth-watering, flavorful home-cooked selections.
Something different? A must-try take-out is BoonDocks Lobster Pot Pie; stuffed with chunks of lobster, carrots and onions in a creamy sauce and baked to a golden brown and comes with a side salad.
Owner Kelly Ryan opened BoonDocks 2-Go earlier this year and has been in the business for over 20 years and relishes the cooking, the challenge of coming up with new recipes, and most of all, her loyal customers.
“Two big hits with customers have been our Lobster Grilled Cheese: 3-cheeses, chunks of sweet lobster, grilled on thick cut Texas toast. Also, Biggy’s Grilled Cheese that combines 3 Cheeses, Lobster, Bacon, Jalapeño, and Sriracha,” said Ryan.
And outdoor dining in the rear! BoonDocks 2-Go offers a great secluded space with a private entrance, private bathrooms, fully fenced in AND parking! Music Friday and Saturday starting May 1, weather permitting.
