The stories are based on the paintings being shown at an excellent exhibit (of the same name), at the Twin Lights Historic Lighthouse in Highlands.

The naval battles of the War of 1812 between the United States and Great Britain are beautifully visualized in fifteen large paintings by the renowned Dutch marine painter, Marteen Platje.

The exhibit lasts until November 22nd, and is a collaboration between NMHA, Cavalier Galleries of New York, and Twin Lights Historical Society.
