RED BANK, NJ – Fire Hydrant Flow Testing will be conducted in the afternoon in the area of 203 Shrewsbury Avenue, (near the Parker Family Health Care Center).
Also scheduled is the area of 2 Broad Street (near Waverly Place).
This testing is performed to determine available flow and pressure for fire protection systems.
Anyone seeing discolored water should shut off the tap and wait several minutes. Check the clarity by running cold water from a tub or hose for a few minutes and allowing new water to work its way into the pipes.
