RED BANK, NJ – The borough council will meet Wednesday, October 23rd, 6:30pm at Borough Hall.
Several items on the agenda will be:
* The adoption that the ordinance for “Fire Prevention and Protection” inspections go from once per year to, “…at least once every three years.” To read the ordinance, click HERE.
* A resolution urging voters to allow, “…veterans and widowed spouses of veterans who served in active duty during war and other times of emergency to receive a property tax deduction, in the amount of $250 per year.” To read the resolution, click HERE.
* To read the resolution for the Halloween curfew dates and time, click HERE.
* A resolution to approve eligible members of the Red Bank Fire Department and First Aid Squad $1,500, for a possible total award of over $33,000. This is “A Length of Service Awards Program”, also known as LOSAP and is similar to a pension program. It is intended to assist emergency service organizations in retaining and rewarding volunteers.
