RED BANK, NJ - E. Scott Wingerter announces the launch of TAPinto Red Bank, an online objective local news site providing original local news reporting and much more, for the Red Bank community. Scott has over thirty years of marketing, sales and business development experience including ten years with a healthcare advertising agency.
He has launched numerous ventures including the nation’s largest independent on-line pharmacy, and largest job site for retirees. He was also a partner in a successful consulting firm that focused on managerial issues that large corporations face with a multi-generational workforce.
Scott has a great affinity and family history with Red Bank.
Scott's father, Dr. Emery G. Wingerter, had a large veterinary hospital on Newman Springs Road, was on the Red Bank Board of Education in the mid-1950’s and a founder and board member of the Community YMCA.
Scott's great-grandfather built the Carlton theater (now the Count Basie) for Walter Reade, and his mother, Barbara O. Wingerter, provided an hour-long historical video for the Count Basie when they began their renovations.
Scott grew up in Fair Haven, graduated from Regis College, Denver, CO and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize, CA. He has lived in Red Bank for over sixteen years. He recently published an e-Book: Cut Your Cable Book.com. He’s a forty-plus year member of the North Shrewsbury Iceboat & Yacht club and enjoys local dining and all the social activities that Red Bank offers.
