RED BANK, NJ – You know the saying; “You’ve got to crack a few eggs to make an omelet.”

Well, at the English Plaza parking lot they’re cracking a lot of concrete.

The Red Bank StreetScape project began in May on White Street laying down pavers and has moved to English Plaza.

The contractor, Seacoast Construction, has been prepping the area by removing the old trees and concrete and laying down brick pavers.

Not easy work in these hot and humid days.

Construction has been starting early and they have been working late.

All businesses are open so please be sure to patronize them.

According to James Scavone, Executive Director of The Red Bank RiverCenter, “Today, brick pavers will be placed, and the concrete apron leading out of English Plaza to Front Street will be poured. Access to the English Plaza parking lot will be open to vehicles and pedestrians via White Street.”

The White Street parking lot will be fully open and accessible.
