Fort Hancock, NJ 1943 Christmas Weekend

Please join the Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA) as they bring History House at Fort Hancock, NJ back to life for Christmas of 1943!

This will be a two day event!

1) Saturday, December 14th, 12PM - 4:30 PM: Members of the Army Ground Forces Association, in period WW2 US Army dress uniforms, will bring the Christmas of 1943 to life. Experience a Christmas just as the officers and soldiers of Fort Hancock, with their families, would have experienced it in 1943 in an authentically recreated officer’s house, decorated for the season.

2) Sunday, December 15th, 1 PM (NOT 12 noon) - 4:30 PM: Join the Sandy Hook Foundation and members of the Army Ground Forces Association, in period WW2 US Army dress uniforms, to bring the Christmas of 1943 to life. Experience a Christmas just as the officers and soldiers of Fort Hancock, with their families, would have in an authentically recreated officer’s house decorated for the season. The Trinity High School Choir will perform from 2pm to 4 pm and Santa will greet all who attend!
