RED BANK, NJ: The Walt Street Pub located on Monmouth Street across from the train station is for sale.
According to Loopnet, the selling price for the 4,300 sf building is $2.6 million that includes a Class “C” liquor license and two, 1-bedroom apartments.
A family-owned Red Bank staple since 1983, it was one of the original dive bars that kept its unique essence with all sorts of memorabilia covering the walls and a cast of ever-changing characters of all ages.
Cold beer, great pub grub and weekly rocking music such as The Bob Burger Band packed them in for the weekends.
Couple of shooters of hooch and the dance floor filled up. To listen to the BB Band sing Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” at the Walt Street Pub, click HERE.
