RED BANK, NJ: The Planning Board approved the application of Abracadabra, LLC, for a new bar and restaurant.
Located at 3-5 Broad Street, the combined 2 and 3-story buildings will have an elevator and the capacity to hold over 300 people. The 2-story building will offer rooftop dining with a retractable awning and glass railings to capture views of the Navesink River.

Owners of record are Jason Zoracki and Jack Manousos who purchased the liquor license from Red Enterprises which previously had the restaurants Belmonte and Reds at the location.
Manousos, a seasoned restaurateur, will operate the establishment said, “The menus will be kind of a play on street food from around the world; a gyro from Greece, shish-kabob, or a Ramen noodle bowl, plus all the American favorites like wings and burgers. We’ll be more of a sports bar theme, with some really great tequila and great beers on tap. We're looking to open sometime in the spring.”
With the added capacity, parking requirements jumped to 97 required with none being offered.
The proposed name is “Exchange” and Manousos added, “We’ll have an old-fashioned ticker tape running across the main bar area with “shout out” specials and messages coming across.”
Prior to the vote, Planning Board Chairman Dan Mancuso said, “I do not like rooftop dining. I think it adds to the (town’s) overcapacity and when the Count Basie has a show it gets very busy.” Mancuso was the only member to vote “No.”
