Jenks has a very cool aquarium; Atlantic and Pacific sharks, coral reefs, penguins, and seals where you can get up close to animals from around the globe.

But really cool?  The “Touch Tank” where you’re allowed to get a feel of live animals ranging from a sea star to a stingray.

“Over the past few years, we have provided some family friendly trips during school breaks for our residents to enjoy some exciting recreational experiences.  We are looking forward to venturing out to Jenkinson's Aquarium to meet and learn about some exciting sea creatures.  We are looking forward to our guests seeing some penguins, sharks, seals, coral reef and much more.  And I want to make a special shout out to our 8th grade intern Myles, who planned the whole trip," said Charlie Hoffmann, Recreation Director.
