New Jersey: According to Governor Murphy, "Restaurants statewide will be able to open for indoor dining beginning this FRIDAY at 25% capacity and with social distancing between tables."
"Reopening responsibly will help us restore one of our state’s key industries while continuing to make progress against #COVID19." Murphy stated on his Twitter account.
This was decided shortly after Murphy was photographed as he ate at a favorite Middletown restaurant while Middletown Police were discussing Executive Order violations with the owner.
Murphy denied awareness of the possible Executive Order violations as he dined nearby.
