RED BANK, NJ: What a way to spend a Monday night!

A hundred plus people gathered at the Molly Pitcher Inn to feast and imbibe on the tasty new offerings of the local restaurants and several spirit, beer and wine purveyors.

The New Year, New Flavour event was produced by the Red Bank Business Alliance (RBBA) in support of HABcore, an organization that provides permanent and supportive housing in a family setting to low-income persons.

“We are truly thankful that the RBBA has embraced Habcore and our mission.  Being selected as the beneficiary of the RBBA New Year New Flavour event this year is truly an honor.  The RBBA and the many businesses in town have been so generous in supporting us.  For over 31 years, HABcore has been providing housing, individualized support services to homeless families with children, veterans and individuals with special needs in Red Bank and throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.  We are a local nonprofit and having the local community acknowledge us - bonds us together.  We support one another.  As the need for our services increase, we will continue to provide the needed care, now and in the future,” said Marta J. Quinn, Sr. Director of Development.

Entertainment was provided by DJ Class Kills who really spun some killer hits that kept the party moving.

Participating restaurants offered new “flavours” that were voted on to decide if they should feature them throughout the year.

A cornucopia of gift baskets donated by Red Bank and Monmouth County businesses added to the fun and festivities.

"The Red Bank Business Alliance is very excited to host this charity event for HABcore.  It's a great organization and this is just one of the ways that the RBBA  gives back to the community," said Sam Jain, President of the RBBA and owner of the Bombay River restaurant on Broad Street.
