RED BANK, NJ: The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County continues its vital outreach and support for the community with more food drives planned this week. The drives are to benefit LunchBreak, Fulfill, and the Old Bridge Township Food Pantry. 

YMCA will be accepting drop & go food donations on April 15th, in Red Bank and April 16th in Old Bridge. The Freehold Y is collecting crisis relief boxes on April 15th and April 17th. In addition, volunteers are needed to help collect food donations.  See specific details below on locations and needs: 

  • Red Bank Family YMCA, 166 Maple Avenue, Red Bank will be accepting drop and go donations on Wednesday, April 15th, 12-5pm

Collection Needs: White pasta, oatmeal packets, canned soup, canned vegetables, canned tuna, peanut butter to benefit Lunch Break.

 2 Volunteers are needed: 12:00-2:30 & 2:30-5:00

  • Old Bridge Family YMCA, 1 Mannino Park Drive, Old Bridge will be accepting drop and go donations on Thursday, April 16th, 12-5pm

Collection Needs: Non-perishable food and toiletry items to benefit the Old Bridge Township Food Pantry.

 2 Volunteers are needed: 12:00-2:30 & 2:30-5:00

  • The Freehold Borough YMCA Community Center at 41 Center Street has been serving as a Fulfill Crisis Relief Box distribution location, and will be open this week on Wednesday, April 15th, and Friday, April 17th, from 10:00am-1:00pm.  Crisis Relief boxes contain: Non-perishable, canned fruit and vegetables and oatmeal.  The Y is seeking one volunteer to help with distribution on Friday, April 17, 10:00am-1:00pm.
