RED BANK, NJ: The Red Bank Council unanimously approved a resolution to approve an extension of the grace period for the payment of property taxes at a special online meeting held at 3:00pm this afternoon.
Taxes were due today, but the payment due date has been extended to June 1st as per Governor Murphy's executive order.

In other comments, Mayor Pat Menna said that, "We are re-opening up our parks but with social distancing regulations this weekend."
Councilman Ed Zipprich stated, "I wanted to make sure we're going to have some type of enforcement, as the weather is going to be beautiful."
Mayor Menna responded, "We (don't have) unlimited resources. The enforcement will be the public reporting to the police department," and if park employees are on site, they will, "Do their best to educate that social distancing regulations must apply."
