RED BANK, NJ – The borough announced that the Red Bank Road Improvement Program is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Road upgrading will include milling and laying of asphalt on over 3,500 linear feet of roadway, install concrete curb ramp upgrades at various intersections to ensure ADA compliance, and crosswalk improvements. Engineering and construction administration are being performed by CME Associates.
A bond ordinance to fund this project was adopted on November 28, 2019, by the Mayor and Council.
The project was subject to public bidding. Four bids were received and Black Rock Enterprises, LLC. of Old Bridge, NJ was awarded with an offer of $618,586.60, and approved by Resolution by the Mayor and Council at the end of July, 2019.

- Tilton Avenue - Monday, August 12, 2019
- Mechanic Street - Monday, August 19, 2019
- McLaren Street - Monday, August 26, 2019
- Grant Place - Monday, September 9, 2019
