RED BANK, NJ: The Planning Board will be holding a public hearing for comments on the proposed demolition of the former Visiting Nurses Association building.
The meeting will be held at the Borough Hall, 90 Monmouth Street, with a start time of 7:00pm.
The developer, Saxum Real Estate, has proposed building a new five-story mixed use structure with 210 residential apartments including 9,000 sf of commercial space.

Back in December of 2018, the borough council had rejected the Planning Board’s recommendation to allow 80 units, not including the required affordable housing units.
Next to one of the busiest traffic areas with its twisting dual highway, the property is at the foot of the Red Bank - Middletown bridge covering 2.7 acres.

Also on the Agenda is a Resolution to approve the Taylor Taco Shop, LLC, which will be located at 1 Broad Street.
