RED BANK, NJ – This will be a great trip to learn and see the abundant amount of wildlife on our local rivers and bay, especially for you ornithologists.
Join the Navesink Maritime Heritage Association on a 3-hour Bird Watching Cruise!
You’ll have the opportunity to view resident and migrating birds of Sandy Hook Bay and Shrewsbury River.
The trip should will begin with a look at the bayside flats at the tip of Sandy Hook, then it’s a run to the mouth of the picturesque Navesink River.
You’ll be guided by intrepid birder guide Chuck Abel on board the Classic Boat Rides' MARINER.
Expect to see Brant, Cormorants, Osprey, Gulls, Terns, Vultures, Oyster Catchers, Ducks, Herons, Swallows, and more.
When: Saturday, May 11th from 8:30am - 11:30am
Where: Embarking from Atlantic Highlands Marina, aboard the MARINER.

Cost: $40 per person. Includes breakfast aboard; coffee, tea, juice, bagels, muffins and fruit.
Water, Mimosas, and Bloody Mary’s will be available for purchase at the onboard bar.
