RED BANK, NJ: Angel Monge, 44 years old, of Red Bank was arrested on Sunday, April 26th, in a stabbing incident that occurred Friday on West Westside Avenue.  The arrest was made through an investigation conducted by Det. John Camarca and Sgt. Jorge Torres.  Monge was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

The incident was described in a RBPD news release that a unnamed 31-year-old Red Bank man was stabbed in the arm with a broken bottle after a verbal altercation escalated.

Red Bank Police Chief Darren McConnell said in a statement, “The incident occurred inside a private residence and the two men were acquaintances.  The victim was treated and released from Riverview Medical Center.”
