RED BANK, NJ – The 15-year old track at Count Basie Park is scheduled to be under construction starting Monday, July 1, 2019.

The project is expected to be completed by August 1st, 2019, weather permitting.  The aging and crumbling track has outlived its useful life and the project scope includes removal and disposal of the existing material, as well as installation of a new Beynon Sports BSS-100 IAAF-certified red polyurethane Synthetic track surface with new striping.

The project also includes purchase of an Aer-Flo track protection mat to safeguard against damage from cleats, shoes, and wheeled equipment.
